Frequently asked questions
Questions people often ask us.
What is Koine Association?
Koine Association is a non-governmental organization based in Timișoara, Romania. We create international learning experiences, mainly within Erasmus+, focused on Digital Transformation and on the Environment and fight against climate change.
What does “koine” mean?
Koine (/koi̯.nɛ̌ː/) is Greek for “common, shared, public”. It was also the name of the shared language that connected people across the ancient Mediterranean. That is the idea behind our slogan: a common language for change.
Who can take part in your projects?
Our projects are for people who want to build digital and environmental skills together with others from different countries. Who can join depends on each project and its programme rules, so every call for participants explains the requirements.
How can my organization become a partner?
Write to partners@koineassociation.org with a few lines about your organization and the kind of project you have in mind. We are happy to hear from schools, NGOs, youth groups and other organizations across Europe.
How can I stay updated about new projects?
Follow us on Instagram (@koineassociation) and Facebook, where we announce new projects and calls for participants first.
